So firstly we found that large objects couldn't be linked successfully, so we would have to scale down our ambitions.
Also to keep in mind was the fact that we were going to have to make sure the cars are kept on the track otherwise the whole race concept could turn into a right mess very quickly. So we would have a mid wall around the circuit and to get onto the track the contenders would just have to fly over the wall and then spawn their cars/buggies.
As we wanted our track to also represent our module so it was easy to identify to others we decided to have the track in the shape of DAT‚ for iDAT (if you hadn't worked that out). Not only does it look good, it also is a good track to race on!
Above (bottom right) is a picture of a scaled down version which we felt could do with an extension, that extension of the track is pictured to the left of it. With some flags in there for added realism...
